I spotted Luis Albuquerque Photography over at Danielle's post this morning about deep blues so I did a little digging to see what I could find out about this talented Toronto-based photographer. You know me and my still life photography fascination! My goal is that by highlighting the work of professional photographers from time to time I am helping to contribute to a greater good - namely to celebrate and honor their profession and encourage the purchasing of magazines, newspapers and books where their work is largely found. The print world is their bread and butter! Luis Albuquerque, a native of Portugal, resides in Toronto where he has been working as a commercial photographer for ten years. One of his clients is House & Home magazine where you may have seen it work already.

I love all the mini vignettes, they make me dream of rooms to decorate! So tell me, which of these three themes that I've pulled together spark your fancy? For me, the pastel imagery of course but the vintage grouping is a very closer runner up. Both satisfy my need for modern and vintage, soft and light, while also a bit rustic and cozy with a dash of childhood curiosity which I sometimes feel like I still have in many ways despite being all grown up. I also adore that office space because seeing bolts of fabric and bins of wrapping paper make me feel right at home. I could sit at that desk and have a ball with all those pretty things, you too?

So tell me... what grouping above do you connect to and why?
