Make your talent pay off.
Build visibility, income and opportunity around what you already do best.
Oct 2 - Nov 16, 2026
YOUR BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY AS A WORKING CREATIVE BEGINS HERE.
In six weeks, we’ll move you from “I know I’m creative, but I don’t know what to do with it or how to make money from it” to a clear direction you can confidently explain, present and put into the world.
Six weeks of live teaching.
Six weeks of guidance and support as you build towards your future.
I’ll share the principles, decisions and real-world experience that I’ve used over the last twenty years to build my own creative business across interiors, publishing, photography, styling, teaching, products, events, exhibitions, education and brand collaborations.
Together, we’ll uncover what makes your work distinctive, identify where its greatest value lies and shape your ideas into something other people can clearly see, understand and want to buy from you.
Imagine where you could be in just a few months once you know what you want to do and offer…
ARE YOU READY TO DISCOVER WHAT’S POSSIBLE?
What comes naturally to you may be exactly what someone else has been searching for. Someone may be looking for an object only you could make, a space only you could imagine, a shop like yours, a story told in the way that you tell it, a room that you’ve designed, or a vase, or simply the particular way you see, share, or style the world.
But people cannot hire, buy, commission, publish, recommend or collaborate with work they cannot clearly see or understand.
You owe it to yourself to give your talent a real chance.
YOU NOTICE THINGS.
You see what could be more beautiful, meaningful or useful. You recognize what belongs, what feels wrong and what would make something stronger.
You have ideas that other people simply don’t have. Yet you want to help.
THIS IS YOUR CREATIVE TALENT.
YOU FEEL THE GAP.
You may already be creating, posting, selling or dreaming - but you’re not receiving the recognition, income or opportunities you know is possible for you.
You can feel that there is more for you.
YOU JUST DON’T KNOW HOW TO REACH IT YET.
IMAGINE IF…
You could clearly explain what you do, present it with confidence and make it easier for the right people to find you.
What if they could immediately understand your value, want what you offer and feel ready to say yes?
THIS IS THE WORK WE’LL DO TOGETHER.
You don’t need a huge audience, a polished website or the perfect business idea before you begin.
You need a clear pathway to spot opportunities, create work, make collaborations and EARN.
AND FOR THE FIRST TIME, I’M BRINGING TWENTY YEARS OF CREATIVE-BUSINESS EXPERIENCE INTO ONE LIVE PROGRAM - AND I’LL TEACH YOU EVERYTHING I KNOW.
Think about everything you know now that you didn’t understand when you began. You have learned a lot on your journey already. You have a certain way of seeing things and understanding what works and what doesn’t.
It took years to get to where you are today. Embrace that!
Every painting you made, room you arranged, object you created, photograph you took, page you wrote, product you selected, display you styled, business you started, and customer or client you helped - this all taught you something.
All of that experience lives in you. Nothing was a failure or a loss. Everything brought you here.
It’s time to find the “red thread” connecting what you do and what you want, and then to understand why it matters and create clear ways for other people to experience - and pay for - what you bring.
You have already laid the foundation and even built upon it.
Now it’s time to see clearly what comes next and how to get there.
We’re entering a new era for the Working Creative
Tech has made it easier than ever to create something that looks polished, not to mention the availability of AI - which is everywhere. This has filled our screens with work that feels increasingly similar but then there are the new AI “virtual influencers”, along with AI-writing, photography, and just about everything else - even voice-overs and videos, that feels never-ending.
That is why a human-generated, distinctive point of view, along with a personal story and something made with genuine human thought and feeling have become more valuable than ever.
The shift is already happening.
58% of American women say they plan to - or would consider - starting their own business within the next twelve months. They want higher income, more control, greater flexibility, and a desire to make a positive impact. Entrepreneurship isn’t just a dream for many - it’s a financial and lifestyle strategy.
42% of women are already earning money from a side business.
479% increase in TikTok searches for “small business” during the first quarter of 2026.
Nearly 1 in 3 consumers now begin their searches on TikTok, Instagram or YouTube instead of Google.
People are actively looking for independent businesses, original ideas and talented people they can believe in. They want to know who created something and to understand the story behind it. People want to buy from people whose work feels personal, specific and real. I mean, don’t you?
What can’t be automated is your lived experience, judgment, taste and the way you see what someone else might overlook.
Thing is, people must be able to find you, understand your value and know what you have to offer. This is not the moment to make yourself smaller or wait until everything is perfect. It’s the best time to get started, take the first step, and figure out the details as you go.
This is exactly the moment when human creativity matters most.
[The above data comes from QuickBooks’ 2026 women entrepreneurs research, TikTok’s 2026 small-business report, and Sprout Social’s 2026 trend analysis.]
You don’t have to wear one hat or force yourself into a single box.
Creative people are rarely only one thing. You may be able to teach what you know, lead live workshops, style a space, develop a product, moderate a panel, give tours at an industry fair, lay a gorgeous tablescape, arrange flowers, create beautiful content, paint beautiful portraits, curate a collection or dream up an experience that brings people together like a meal or a full-on retreat.
What you know, make and see could become a service, commission, product, workshop, editorial idea, event, brand collaboration - or an offer that is entirely your own.
The problem is not lack of ideas.
It’s knowing which ideas have value, which to pursue and how to form them into something people immediately understand and want to pay for.
Inside The Working Creative, we’ll look closely at what you already have and identify the opportunities with the greatest potential. Then we’ll develop a clear offer, strengthen the way you present it and create a practical plan for attracting customers, clients, collaborations and paid opportunities.
You have the ideas.
Now let’s turn it into something you can grow and sell.
The Working Creative is a six-week live professional intensive for people who want clearer direction, stronger visibility and meaningful ways to earn from what they already do well.
I’ll help you put language, structure and value around your ideas and instincts so other people can understand them, trust them and pay for them.
Together, we’ll uncover what makes your work distinctive, identify where its greatest value lies and decide which opportunities are right for you. Then we’ll shape your strongest idea into a clear offer and develop how you will present it, talk about it and put it into the world.
Creative talent becomes professionally valuable when people can see what makes it different, understand what you offer and know how to hire, buy, commission, recommend or collaborate with you.
Perhaps you already have clients or customers, but your work feels scattered, or you’ve been creating for years but have never known how to turn your talent into a clear offer. Maybe your creativity has been pushed of view, and you’re finally ready to take it seriously.
Bring the ideas, experience and talent you already have.
I’ll help you decide what to do with them.
Six weeks of live teaching. Six weeks of guidance, feedback and forward movement.
SIX WEEKS FROM IDEA TO OPPORTUNITY
Across six carefully sequenced weeks, we’ll move from uncovering what makes your work distinctive to deciding what you want to be known, and paid, for.
You’ll clarify your direction, recognize where your greatest value lies, shape a compelling offer, strengthen the way you present your work and create a practical plan for becoming more visible to the right people.
Each week brings the next decision into focus.
I want to help you see the value of what you already have, and show you how to communicate it clearly, confidently and professionally.
We officially begin together on October 2.
You will leave The Working Creative knowing what you’re building, why it matters, how to present it and what to do next.
Your ideas have brought you a long way.
Now let’s give the best idea a shape and direction. Together.
The Creative Inventory
SEE THE VALUE IN WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE
Before deciding what to sell, we’ll look closely at your skills, experience, ideas, interests and natural strengths. You’ll begin noticing the things you do instinctively that other people find difficult - and recognizing where your greatest creative value may already exist.
You’ll create your personal Creative Value Map and choose the direction you want to explore.
The Visible Creative
HELP THE RIGHT PEOPLE FIND YOU
Beautiful work can still be overlooked when it is presented without clarity. We’ll strengthen the words, images and stories you use across your website, portfolio, social media and professional introduction so your presence feels as considered as your work.
Begin forming the language and visual direction needed to present yourself with clarity and confidence.
Your Distinctive Direction
DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT TO BE KNOWN FOR
Being talented is not enough if people cannot clearly understand what makes your work different. We’ll define your point of view, the story behind your work, the people you want to reach and the qualities you want them to remember.
You’ll develop a clear creative position and learn how to confidently explain what you do.
The Opportunity Circle
CREATE CONNECTIONS THAT MOVE YOUR WORK FORWARD
We’ll identify the clients, customers, editors, brands, collaborators and creative communities that you could work with and explore how to approach them with a solid pitch.
You’ll build your personal Opportunity Map and a warm, focused outreach plan.
The Paid Offer
TURN YOUR IDEA INTO EARNINGS
Your idea, that creative spark, could become a service, product, commission, workshop, experience, collaboration - or a thoughtful combination of several income streams. We’ll choose what makes sense for you and shape it into an offer with a clear purpose, scope, price and value.
You’ll develop a defined offer and a realistic way to begin earning from it.
The Working Plan
PUT YOUR CREATIVITY INTO MOTION
In our final week, we’ll bring everything together: your direction, offer, message, visibility and relationships. You’ll decide what needs to happen first, what can wait and how to keep moving after our six weeks together.
You’ll complete your 90-day Working Creative Plan -with clear priorities, purposeful next steps and the beginning of something real to put into the world.
“Working with Holly changed the trajectory of my life.”
Working with Holly changed the trajectory of my life. When I came to her, I had two passions I couldn't seem to bring together: personal development and spirituality on one side, creativity on the other. They lived in separate parts of me, and I couldn't find a way to connect them.
Holly helped me bridge that gap.
Through her mentorship, she didn't just help me find clarity - she helped me uncover the idea that would become my business: a training program for Mindful Creative Coaches. It was something I never would have imagined on my own, yet the moment she reflected it back to me, I knew it was mine.
Because of that work, I found the courage to leave the security of my teaching career and begin creating a more independent, self-directed life in Mallorca.
What makes Holly exceptional is her ability to see what others miss. She listens beneath the surface, recognizes the gifts and possibilities you may not yet see in yourself, and helps bring them into focus. She has a remarkable way of uncovering what feels most true and helping you build a meaningful path forward.
I am deeply grateful for her guidance and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who feels called toward something bigger, more aligned, and more authentic. If you have the opportunity to work with Holly, take it.

There is something powerful about having the right person look at everything you have created and say:
“Here. This is the red thread. This is what I see - and this is what I believe you can do with it.”
I’m not here to hand you a formula or turn your business into a copy of someone else’s. My role is to recognize what is distinctive and valuable in what you have already built, then help you shape it into a direction that feels entirely your own - and strong enough to move your work forward.
I would love to help you find your red thread and show you what it could become.
Twenty years ago, I left the corporate world and built a creative business around the way I see the world - and I never looked back.
I founded decor8 in 2006 and, over the past twenty years, have built and sustained a creative career spanning interiors, publishing, photography, education, content, product development, exhibitions, brand partnerships and consulting.
I’ve written four internationally bestselling books published in 20 languages. My first book, Decorate, sold more than 300,000 copies worldwide. Since 2009, I’ve taught more than 10,000 students and built a seven-figure online education business.
I created and co-founded HOLLY magazine in partnership with Gruner + Jahr, one of Germany’s largest publishing houses, and served as its creative director and editor-at-large. I’ve also created and designed exhibitions for leading international design fairs, including imm cologne and Domotex.
My work also includes collaborations with international brands, advising creative founders and established companies, and developing products and capsule collections- including Purist, my rug collection for Tisca.
I’m not teaching The Working Creative from theory, recycled business advice or AI-generated content.
I’m teaching it from twenty years of turning creative ideas into commercially viable work - learning how to position and sell them, adapting to enormous changes in media and business, and recognizing when and how creative work needs to evolve.
My career has never followed one neat, straight line.
I know what it means to have several interests, abilities and potential income streams, and to wonder how they all belong together. I also know what it feels like to outgrow work that once felt right and face the question of what should replace it.
One of my strongest abilities is recognizing the potential in people and their ideas. I can step into someone’s creative world, understand what they have already built, notice the connections and opportunities they may be missing, and identify what could become more valuable, visible and profitable.
The Working Creative is a live professional experience built around your real work.
You will not be left alone with a collection of videos and more information to sort through.
Over six weeks, we’ll meet live and move through one clear stage at a time.
You’ll apply what you learn directly to your own ideas, offers and creative business while receiving guidance, perspective and support along the way.
By the end, you’ll have more than inspiration.
You’ll have decisions made, language written, opportunities identified and a clear plan for what to do next.
“I’ve taken these beautiful courses three times! Each time I feel inspired, energized, focused and connected. I can’t wait to take another and I recommend them from the bottom of my heart.”
-Emily Quinton, Book Author
“Holly knows how to motivate, encourage and bring her students to the next level delivering enormous value.”
