I’ve been shopping quite a lot lately for gifts but also for things to take with me to Germany since I know some of my favorite sellers don’t ship outside of the U.S. and if they do, I’ll have to pay double or even triple for the postage. When you have two months to prepare for an international relocation, your brain thinks of what matters the most: availability of goods in your new country. he he. There is no Martha Stewart or Williams Sonoma or Paper Source in Germany so one must prepare for such losses in advance! :) Same goes for Etsy, I’ve been on a tiny spree but I think I’m at a point to where I have everything I need. Except vanilla extract, expats keep telling me to smuggle some in and I’m trying to figure out why because my husband swears Germany has it. Hmmmm. Anyway, here’s my curated collection of Etsians today, I hope you find a few click-worthy shops here!

Florrie Mitton has mostly frilly garters and things but I love her art prints and thought they’d fit nicely here on decor8. Super pretty!

Tina Crespo is a professional photographer working in a commercial studio in Philadelphia. Tina studied photography and loves nature, texture and working with light — evident in her work. I love the image of the plane - it reminds me if that lovely film with the gorgeous soundtrack, Out of Africa.

Next today I want to share with you another photographer, Blue Cocoon. Her latest images are dream-like where an almost modern day Alice in Wonderland world awaits. I love all of the handmade touches and sewing references.

The Time Is Now has some of the sweetest hand painted brooches and some, like the one shown here, are only $7!

I adore the illustrative style over at Tuesday Mourning and love that she’ll do custom work so you can have you and your loved one turned into quirky art. I would love this for my husband and I, but how cute if you just want one for yourself, or of you and your daughter or perhaps if you own a shop, one of each of your staff posted on the wall behind the cash register. :)
