RICE Autumn/Winter 2013

When my dear friend Charlotee from RICE in Denmark sent me previews of her new line for Fall/Winter, I knew I had to share her bright, colorful creations. I love the styling, it's my favorite styling I've seen for RICE yet and I love how fresh and happy everything looks. This is my absolute favorite photo shown below from their upcoming catalog - I adore this old wooden window and how sweetly everything is arranged. Gorgeous! RICE Autumn/Winter 2013

In addition to RICE, Charlotte is also the lady behind the beautiful new book, Happy Home. You may recall my book review HERE. Her style is definitely on trend being one of the four big interiors trends you'll see this Fall/Winter.

I love these colorful plastic bags for packing lunches with the dots. And who doesn't love dots?

Tea towels with pompom fringe make any kitchen feel a little more playful, don't you think?

I love that in addition to their melamine range, RICE is using more and more pottery. I think it looks so nice.

These bowls are so cute and I love that they are melamine because then you can prepare a mixed salad in a big plastic bag or large tupperware bowl, then go to the park and pull out these adorable bowls and serve your salad without worrying about anything getting broken - yet not sacrificing on style or resorting to paper or plastic bowls from the supermarket (which I really dislike!). I also think melamine is super practical with children for soups and cereals. Although honestly, I'd eat my morning muesli out of these bowls - no problem. They are cheerful!

These plates are super cute and fun!

I REALLY like these bento box-style containers shown above. Such a great way to pack a lunch without having to bring a bunch of little containers.
