Steve Howkins Dividers + Lighting
Jody recently wrote in looking for the perfect room divider. We suggested several options for her, but now that Steve Howkins walked into my life (thanks to Modemuse), I say with a confident grin, "Surf no more!" because Steve is here and he has exactly what you're looking for.
Okay, with the exception being that his design studio is located in Australia, it's still worth sending him an email with the specs and see what he can come up with. Maybe he's already in the states, who knows? What I do know is that his room dividers are the most amazing that I've ever seen. I love that they are relatively lightweight in polyprop. Best part, those arabesque shadows they cast. Ooooh. Imagine these in front of a window even, to replace traditional fabric curtains?
