I am so excited today to share the home of a lovely new friend of mine here in my very own city of Hannover, Germany. Her name is Sandra and her Instagram account is called @Karlas_view. I have followed her on IG for over a year now and love her posts, usually of her home, but also some with her wedding day and the lovely trips that she and her husband take together.

I can’t believe the Holidays are coming to a close and soon we’ll be entering 2019. Whoosh! This year seemed to fly once October came. We can still hold on to Christmas a little longer though, thanks to today’s home tour coming from Monika Abts (Moni) in Odenthal, Germany which is about 20 minutes from Cologne. She shares her 200m² home with her husband, two children (boy 14, girl 11) and her dog, Liz. She’s a textile engineer by day, but also writes a blog called Lady Stil, which focuses on interiors and DIY projects.

It’s Christmas, and I want to wish all of you a happy, restful holiday time with your loved ones. We are enjoying peace and quiet today, and basking in doing a lot of nothing! Playing board games and cards, watching films and eating warm soup and homemade pretzels are part of our festivities. I love an all white and black home, it shows such restraint to not use a lot of color and pattern. I’m always so amazed that people can live in a monochrome home - so much respect! That is why today, before Christmas and the explosion of red and green, I wanted to show you a minimalist Swedish home that you will absolutely love.
