What The Eye Is
THE EYE is an online creative studio for women who want to bring home and creativity back together in a more personal, intuitive, and meaningful way.
It’s a place to make things with your hands, notice what draws you in, trust your taste more deeply, and create a home and creative life that feels layered, expressive, and alive.
This is not about following decorating rules or copying someone else’s style. It’s about learning to listen more closely to what you love and giving yourself permission to create from there.
Each month, we move through a gentle creative theme with lessons, prompts, projects, guest conversations, and one live working session with me.
You can explore the earlier material at your own pace, then join us live for the remaining months until October 31, 2026.

THE EYE is not a rigid online course or a pile of lessons you’re expected to rush through. It’s a slower, more spacious creative experience designed to become part of your real life. You’ll have structure, guidance, and inspiration each month, but also room to breathe, reflect, experiment, and make the work your own.

Why Learn with Me?
Hello!I’m Holly Becker — bestselling author, journalist, stylist, creative director, product designer, interior designer, photographer, artist, creative educator, and founder of decor8. If I were asked to choose just one title, I’d struggle, because creativity has never shown up in my life in only one form. I’ve always been happiest exploring, experimenting, and following my curiosity wherever it leads.
When something captures my attention, I don’t simply admire it from a distance. I want to understand it, learn it, practice it, and eventually weave it into my work and the way I live. Over the years, that curiosity has shaped a career spanning books, design, photography, styling, teaching, and creative direction, but more importantly, it has shaped the way I see the world.
THE EYE grew from that way of seeing. It’s where I share what I’ve learned about paying attention, trusting your instincts, and creating a life and home with more beauty, intention, and personality. My goal is not to teach you to see the world the way I do, but to help you develop the confidence to see it through your own eyes.
For years, people have asked me the same question: “How do you always notice things other people miss?”
THE EYE is my answer.
The Eye unfolds through a gentle monthly progression. Summer opens you up through flowers, flea markets, art journaling, collecting, photography, sensory noticing, and visual play, while Autumn turns you inward toward mood, home, materials, collections, styling, and creating rooms that feel more fully your own.
The Journey
Each month inside THE EYE has a theme, a creative focus, and simple exercises to help you practice what we’re exploring. June and July are available immediately when you join, and August through October continue live with the group.
JUNE - Awaken the Senses: Color, light, texture, and learning to notice what draws you in. Available immediately.
JULY - Gather and Compose: Flea markets, flowers, treasures, collecting, and creating visual stories from what you find. Available immediately.
AUGUST - Capture and Translate: Photography, journaling, collage, and mood boards that turn inspiration into expression.
SEPTEMBER - Shape the Feeling of Home: Materials, styling, atmosphere, and creating warmth and meaning in your space.
OCTOBER - Trust Your Eye: Defining your style and creating a home that feels personal, layered, and fully yours.

When you join THE EYE, you’ll step into the full studio experience already in progress. You’ll receive immediate access to our June and July lessons, projects, guest videos, downloads, and replays, then continue live with us through August, September, and October.
Each month includes a creative theme, a welcome from me, focused video lessons, creative exercises, downloadable materials, a guest conversation, and one 60-minute live working session where we gather as a group and create together. If you can’t attend live, the replay will be available.
You’ll also have access to our private Discord community, where we share projects, ideas, inspiration, questions, and discoveries along the way. You are not being dropped into a content library and left alone. You’re joining a creative circle with warmth, structure, beauty, and room to breathe.
This is a no-stress studio. You can participate as much or as little as your life allows. The goal is not to keep up perfectly. The goal is to reconnect with your creativity in a way that feels real, nourishing, and possible.

Yes. When you join today, you’ll receive immediate access to everything already released from June and July, including lessons, projects, downloads, guest conversations, and replays. Then you’ll continue live with us through August, September, and October.

No. You do not need professional training, and you do not need to consider yourself “good at art.” The Eye is open to beginners as well as women with creative experience who want a more personal and intuitive way to work.

You’ll understand the seasonal arc and what’s included, but the page is intentionally not set up like a formal syllabus. The Eye is meant to feel like a guided journey rather than a school program.

That is absolutely part of the spirit of the studio. By the end, you’ll have tools, prompts, and creative approaches you can adapt for your own clients, workshops, community spaces, or personal creative projects.
